What the role is

The Business Intelligence Analyst provides critical insights to internal stakeholders to drive strategic and tactical decisions across multiple areas of the business. In addition, the Business Intelligence Analyst will play a role in architecting both Drizly's data flows and reporting. A successful candidate will have strong business and technical acumen, as well as great problem solving, communication, and management skills.

In this role you will:

Partner with internal customers (e.g., Marketing, Partnerships, Retail, Customer Service) to develop analyses that lead to actionable insights that accelerate growth. Prioritize and project manage team activities, working collaboratively on data needs with cross-functional groups. Create data flows to support expanding reporting and visualization efforts. Work with several large and complex SQL databases. Mentor and develop a team of analysts. Know the numbers behind the business inside and out; serve as the subject matter expert for all internal stakeholders.

You would be great for this role if you have/ are:

2+ years of total experience in a business intelligence, data science or engineering role

Experience with OLAP technologies, SQL, and related BI software

Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude

Experience creating and maintaining ETL process

Experience with web-tracking and marketing attribution

Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problemsStrong written and verbal communication

Experience with Python, Java, DOMO, Tableau a plus

A degree in computer science, economics, finance, or other quantitative discipline with strong academic record preferred but not required
