BI Developer – QlikView/DOMO

Data is a critical asset at SharkNinja and the BI developers are instrumental to unlocking that data for the business. In this role, you will be developing, implementing, deploying, administering, and supporting applications on our QlikView and Domo platforms. You will work closely with the business to deliver insights that informs their decisions. Our fast-paced environment requires real-time awareness into the health of the organization, and you are a key component of that capability. In this role, you will partner with our ETL team to get access to data and the BA team to get comprehensive requirements. You will help the team navigate our business processes of intake, data cleansing, development cycles, testing and productionalization. SharkNinja is a fast-paced, quick pivoting organization that requires people to be flexible and driven for results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with BAs to Interpret business needs of stakeholders and document requirements.

Use the business requirements to create Design documents that will later be used by the QA team for testing.

Create QlikView and Domo applications interfacing with multiple data sources, data models, reports, interactive visualizations, and dashboards; while ensuring best practices are followed.

Collaborate and work with data analysts and super users in various departments to ensure that data meets their reporting and analysis needs.

Develop custom code using QlikView scripts.

Develop custom dataflows using Domo.

Document work and unit test applications.

Attributes and Skills:

QlikView Development/scripting and/or Domo Development / dataflow creation

Work collaboratively within the team, the department, and the across the organization

Good written and oral communication in French and English

Willingness to adhere to standards and best practices

Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and communication skills

Solid business facing skills to gather and document requirements

Ability to translate requirements into developed code

Investigates problems to establish real or hidden causes

Ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions

Places emphasis on client satisfaction and customer experience

Enthusiastic about learning large and complex systems, and new tools

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, or related field

2+ years of experience with QlikView or DOMO

2+ years of experience with SQL scripting and store procedure

Experience with Oracle ERP or similar products is plus

Experience integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system

Experience with dashboard solutions

Experience with reporting tools and analysis
