Who we are

Drizly is the world’s largest alcohol marketplace and the best way to shop beer, wine and spirits. Our customers trust us to be a part of their lives – their celebrations, parties, dinners and quiet nights at home. We are there when it matters - committed to life’s moments and the people who create them. We partner with the best retail stores in over 1400 cities across North America to serve up the best buying experience. Drizly offers a huge selection and competitive pricing with a side of personalized content. That is what we do. Who we are is a different story.

We are more than just another tech company. There is an intellectual curiosity that occurs at Drizly. We have a desire to question, to understand, to figure it out. Bottom line, we solve it. We value not just the truth but the process to get to the truth, to deliberate, decide and then act. Most importantly, we care. We care about our customer. We care about our company. We care about our team. There will be long days and incredible challenges.

We are blazing a trail in an industry that hasn’t changed in nearly a century, and that doesn’t scare us (well, not all the time) -and even when it does, it doesn’t stop us, it energizes us.

Do you see yourself here? Read on.

Who you are

You have led the intersection of data and strategic decision making. You understand what’s required for a balanced partnership and authentic idea sharing, rooted in concise, productive, and effective communication across the Data Science and Analytics team.

You have been the analytic backbone of Customer Experience/Success, Sales/Account Management, or other e-commerce support functions before. You have supported any/all of these teams before and know what’s needed to build towards the future. You will incorporate diverse 3rd party data sets (Salesforce, Zendesk, Humanity, Zenefits) with Drizly internal data. You are comfortable working closely with CX, product, and engineering on the roadmap of process, tools and automations. You are familiar with sales processes, CX agent workflow and post-order process + issues, and excited to learn how the various functions of an e-commerce organization coexist and provide a seamless experience for both our customers and retailers.

What the role is

The Business Intelligence Analyst provides critical insights to internal partners to drive strategic and tactical decisions across multiple areas of the business. In addition, the BI Analyst will play a role in architecting both Drizly's data flows and reporting. A successful candidate will have strong business and technical acumen, as well as great problem solving, communication, and leadership skills. For example, the pandemic has required us to think about the future of CX Product + CX Engineering Resources. We are currently CX capacity constrained for the first time and CX capacity is keeping Drizly from growing. The value of a 1% improvement to the CX tools or process is 4x more meaningful than it was two months ago. We need to invest in the analytic firepower and bandwidth to identify those improvements.

Please note: this role can be performed remotely anywhere in the United States with the exception of Colorado.

In this role you will:

  • Partner with internal customers (e.g., Marketing, Sales/AM, Retail, Customer Service) to develop analyses that lead to measurable insights that accelerate growth
  • Prioritize and develop team activities, working collaboratively on data needs with multi-functional groups
  • Build data flows to support rapidly growing reporting and visualization efforts
  • Worked with a modern BI Stack (Fivetran/Snowflake/dbt/Looker)
  • Educate stakeholders and drive best practices for a team of analysts
  • Know the numbers behind the business inside and out; serve as the subject matter expert for all internal stakeholders

The Other Stuff:

  • Competitive salary
  • One-on-one professional coaching with an external expert
  • Health, Dental and Vision Insurance
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Commuter benefits
  • 401(K) Plan
  • Added perks

You do you.

Drizly is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status
