Rapid7 is looking for the right person ready to manage the strategy and operations of a global analyst relations program. The ideal person is self-driven, knows our industry analyst firms, and has proven success in building collaborative relationships with influential analysts, executive spokespeople, and product and marketing leaders.

You are motivated by executing an analyst relations program that drives Rapid7’s brand, product vision, and contributes to our overall go-to-market. As Rapid7’s analyst relations manager, you are expected to have deep knowledge of our main industries including network security, penetration testing, application security, SIEM, and vulnerability management. This role also demands that you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

As the Rapid7 Analyst Relations Manager, you are responsible for successfully leading cross-functional teams and multiple projects on a global scale. You report to the Vice President of Solutions Marketing and work closely with marketing, product, and technology subject matter experts across the company.

Responsibilities include:

• Independently drive the strategy for a global analyst relations program directly with the business goals of the company and our business units

• Proactively engage and deepen relationships with our analysts and market influencers

• Drive coverage and understanding of Rapid7’s vision, strategy, competitive differentiation, and market leadership

• Respond quickly to analyst requests, manage all responses which may require creating deliverables and coordinating between various internal departments

• Lead program activities such as analyst inquiries, briefings, and interviews

• Provide strategic business value to solutions marketing, product management, marketing, and sales

• Coach and prepare spokespeople for analyst engagements

• Assist internal subject matter experts and spokespeople in preparing content that is tailored for an analyst audience

• Support corporate communications and marketing teams in other AR-related programs and activities

• Analyze relevant analyst research, summarize, and distribute for internal stakeholders

• Track and report on all analyst interactions, social conversations, and coverage

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of analyst relations experience in enterprise software

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

• Analytic and strategic thinker

• Resourceful problem solver

• Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage numerous deadline-driven projects simultaneously

• Experience marketing to security or IT audiences

• Knowledge about security, security analytics, IT analytics, and other Rapid7 solutions are a plus

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
