Job Description
The online course delivery manager will manage data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence {online courses / SPOC (Small Private Online Courses)}. You will be responsible of putting the pieces together to drive consistent and high-quality learning experiences, running and monitoring course execution and identifying ways to improve the courses.
Key responsibilities
Online course management & monitoring
- Implement and run high quality {identify specify subject matter of courses, if any. Example: data science, machine learning & AI} online courses
- Guarantee consistent, high-quality learning experiences by:
- aligning stakeholders (design, support team, etc.),
- monitoring student satisfaction
- ensuring timely content delivery
- ensuring robust and prompt student support
- Identify course improvement areas through thorough weekly course monitoring (analyze student surveys and student course interaction)
- Ensure correct development and deployment of different course features (live webinars, office hours, grading)
- Ensure overall course qualitative and quantitative targets, such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) and course completion rate .
- Be the primary point of escalation for any issue participants raise related to program design and quality. Solve problems within course deployment as they occur and guarantee longer run fixes are implemented.
Learning Facilitator management
- Recruiting and onboarding Learning Facilitators, including training on courses and tools (learning platform, support system, etc.) and sharing best practices to perform at optimal levels.
- Schedule Learning Facilitators live sessions (office hours, webinars) {ensuring the optimal mix of experience, skills, and availability to support participants}.
- Ensure Learning Facilitators meet expectations and deadlines (grading, setting of office hour and webinar sessions, etc.) and positively impact student’s learning experience
- Ensure Learning Facilitators positively impact students’ learning experience by measuring and analyzing their performance. Coach underperforming Learning Facilitators.
- Coordinate and lead periodic check-ins with Learning Facilitators.
- (Preferable) Bachelor’s Degree in Data or Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics
- Passion for EdTech and/or Higher Education
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to assume responsibility for one’s own productivity
- Experience in a Data Analysis role a plus. Experience working with global and multidisciplinary teams preferable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter who can work independently within a distributed global team
- Project management experience preferable
