About the role:

Transmit Security is looking for a Senior Technical Product Copywriter to work with the product team to document and deliver compelling content that translates technical information, roadmaps and feature releases into logical, readable, and understandable materials for a variety of audiences, spanning from developers, to security and identity personas, up to decision makers.  This role is critical in being able to deliver content in a clear and concise manner across the organization from Sales to Marketing and then directly to customers. 

We are looking for someone who is very passionate about technology and wants to innovate, research, learn, and experiment. We want this person to collaborate to identify and understand our customer needs. Therefore it is a big plus if you have a technical background that enables easy interaction with software developers, product managers.  The ideal candidate has experience with security, identity and access management and loves technology and is passionate about writing engaging content which helps in solving problems.

This role will work very cross functionally with the Product and R&D team in Israel and also with the Sales & Marketing teams globally. The East Coast, USA, time zone is preferable to be the most successful in this role. This role is fully remote but occasional travel to Israel will be required. 

What you'll do: 

• Translate complex use-cases into simplistic product messaging and relatable stories that align with our customer’s needs. 
• Pitch, research, and provide content for articles, one-pagers, white-papers, such as:
• Deep dives on modern IAM technologies
• New solutions briefs 
• Product presentations
• Video scripts
• Manage, edit and proofread content from other subject matter experts, both internal and external.
• Review product planning and design documents to provide feedback and customer-facing text
• Innovate by using data in internal tools to automatically generate documentation for our external customers
• Collaborate closely with Product Marketing and partner with other functional areas to deepen our market position, brand, and messaging in a way that authentically promotes the company.
• Retain customer focus by reviewing customer feedback and continuously improving our docs
• Dive deep and become an expert in your areas of ownership
• Work with other writers, editors, and engineers in multiple levels of the organization to help each other learn and grow, and ultimately deliver the best possible product to customers
• Develop new formats for communicating original research, monitoring best practices, and technical tips to our readers

What you'll need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
• At least 3 years of experience as polished writer with a technical copywriting experience - able to provide samples of your work
• Ability to take an active part in a collaborative environment and work as part of a cross functional team
• Quick learner and able to understand complex topics or product information - Comfortable researching new technologies, doing fact-checks, able to learn how to use them.
• You will have the support of Transmit engineers and other technical staff when you need an expert opinion
• Able to reduce complex workings and create compelling logical, readable, and understandable content for variety of audiences spanning from developers, to security and identity personas, up to decision makers.
• Technology Obsessed. Experience in the IAM and security industry with an understanding of the key personas in this space. No direct IAM or security experience? No problem. But please be able to understand the technology space be ready to acquire the needed experience.
• Familiarity with using and following a style guide
• Experience using content publishing tools to write, format, manage, and publish technical content on the web
• Experience designing, planning, and delivering content solutions that meet the needs of technical business customers
• A proactive and open-minded attitude to resolving problems and delivering results
• Cope with Ambiguity. Proven success working within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment that requires the collaboration of multiple groups.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of core business and financial metrics, particularly in growth-stage startups.
• [Advantage] Experience in at least one widely used general-purpose programming language (JavaScript, Python, Swift, etc.)
