The Rapid7 Experience Design Studio cultivates end-to-end experiences that build lasting, meaningful relationships with our customers. We’re looking for someone to join our Content Experience team in Boston or Austin to help develop our content strategy for our brand and portfolio, and lead a team of content strategists, content marketers, and content developers. If you have a passion for cybersecurity, a knack for understanding customer challenges, and an ability to creatively push the boundaries on content experiences, you might just be our person.

In this role you’ll be
Deciding what content we will create, at what intervals, and how we’ll distribute for maximum impact
Leading a team and providing regular performance feedback, check-ins and reviews for people who report to you
Coaching team members to increase their impact, develop their strengths and grow their careers
Establishing and governing our company’s editorial standards
Shaping and evangelize Rapid7 content standards
Building strong cross-functional relationships that embolden trust and cooperation across different content creators at Rapid7
Developing lightweight, repeatable processes, workflows and content templates that keep the team nimble and successful in a culture that values moving fast and iterating quickly
Sharing your own work and give feedback to teammates in a variety of settings
Defining and capturing a variety of metrics to measure the effectiveness of our content, and retooling our approach based on those results
Developing and maintaining a multi-channel editorial calendar that balances both brand and product campaigns
Ensuring the content being created is driving to business and brand goals
In return you will bring
8-10 years of relevant, similar experience
Strong background in B2B content marketing
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and coach a team
Stakeholder management expertise, coupled with a desire to build cross functional relationships across all levels of the organization
Flexibility, creativity, and enthusiasm for Rapid7 products
Ability to drive content best practices in a fast-paced environment
Portfolio required (include link on your resume)
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related social science
Content experience in tech a plus
