Join the product development team of a high growth Population Health and Analytics software company. Reporting to VP of Risk Adjustment and Quality Product Strategy and joining a talented team of Product experts, you will assist the Quality team in the successful development and delivery of accurate quality measures to further enable industry excellence and high client satisfaction and trust.

This position requires a deep understanding of quality measures across many quality stewards, an understanding of how measures are developed, and familiarity with measure specifications. Additionally, some grasp of clinical knowledge as clinical concepts relate to measures will be important. This position will enable you to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in US healthcare at the leading healthcare systems across the country. You are expected to continually position Arcadia as an industry leader in the healthcare quality measure space.

You will be responsible to write measures and communicate to internal teams how measures may deviate and any limitations in the measure code.

What Success Looks Like:

 

In 30 Days

· Learn the design and capabilities of Arcadia’s measure calculation engine

· Build relationships across departments as thought leader in quality measurement

· Understand the Arcadia value proposition to clients, specifically as it relates to Quality measures

· Begin to assist with measure development

 

In 60 Days

· Accurate and independent development of low to medium complexity quality measures within the measure engine

· Develop comprehensive knowledge of existing measure inventory

· Strong grasp of the measure development roadmap

· Understand the products that surface quality measures

· Fundamental knowledge of the measure functions and how they are used

· Understands the different types of measures/deviations that Arcadia supports and why

· Generates 1-3 measures a week

 

In 90 Days

· Accurate and independent development of high complexity quality measure within the measure engine

· Generates 2-4 measures per week

· Strong understanding of nuances between measure stewards

· Can confidently speak to the measure logic

Role and Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of industry quality measures (UDS, HEDIS, eCQM, etc) as well as understanding how clinical data may impact quality measures
  • You will be responsible to develop measures accurately and to the specification and communicate to internal teams if measures may deviate and any limitations in the measure code
  • Become an expert in quality measure specifications and understanding; work directly across the Arcadia organization to answer any questions on specifications or measure logic
  • Demonstrates high standards for accuracy and attention to detail; demonstrates strong self-organizational and time management skills to concurrently manage multiple accounts, adjusting as needed to shifting timelines and priorities
  • Identify and elevate key obstacles for intervention that may jeopardize timelines
  • Subject matter expert on measure logic and specification interpretations
  • Communicates with measure stewards as necessary to support measure development and maintain certifications (ie, NCQA, CMS, etc)

What you'll have

  • 3+ years of CMS Stars, clinical quality, or healthcare quality improvement experience
  • Proficient SQL skills and thorough understanding of specification concepts
  • 3 or more years of experience required in health care quality data analysis in either a health plan setting or health system that including either measure development or working directly with measure reporting and or validation
  • Strong grasp of population health management concepts
  • Ensure maximum level of data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and completeness in the all measure development

Location

Our new corporate headquarters is located in Downtown Boston, a short walk from South Station. Easily accessible by public transit (MBTA, commuter rail, South Station Bus Terminal) and a short 30 minute Uber from Logan airport. A close walk to nearby coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and sights.
