JetSetter.com is looking for a digitally savvy editor and writer with a passion for all things travel, food, style, and design! The Editorial Assistant will work with the JetSetter content team to deliver engaging articles to ultimately grow traffic, audience engagement, and revenue.
Job Responsibilities:
- Edit and write 2 to 3 stories a day (these may include hotel roundups; style ecomm stories; destination pieces)
- Write captions for two Instagram posts a day and work with photo editors to pick engaging Instagram photos
- Manage Pinterest account to increase audience engagement, which will involve posting 6 to 10 times a day (keeping SEO in mind!)
- Help editorial staff put together monthly story calendar
- Work with photo editors on all feature stories
Who we are looking for:
- Minimum of 1 year editorial experience for an online media outlet (ecomm experience is a plus!)
- An excellent writer and editor who is full of creative ideas and can deliver clean copy quickly
- You live and breathe Pinterest and Instagram and enjoy creating engaging Instagram stories
- You don't mind being on camera
- You love fashion and travel and keep up with the latest trends
- You are knowledgeable about SEO best practices
- You love working with a small team
