Aurora Flight Sciences, a Boeing subsidiary, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Librarian to support the design and development of next generation unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).  Aurora Flight Sciences designs, builds and flies next generation aircraft technologies.  Recent projects have focused on man-portable UAS, all-electric and hybrid-electric aircraft, cockpit robotics, and solar powered systems.

As part of a highly collaborative environment you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team defining the cutting edge of aerospace. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • The Electrical Engineering Librarian will support engineering efforts with:

  • Daily engineering interaction related to parts and library management
  • Help define documentation and library management process
  • Design tool library structure and formatting
  • Design component symbol generation
  • Design component data capture

Candidates have demonstrated working knowledge of one or more of the following:

  • Component Datasheet

  • Configuration Management

  • Printed Circuit Documentation

  • Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies

  • Working knowledge of tools:

    • Harness Design tools (Mentor Graphics Capital)

    • PCB design tools (Altium)

    • EDA tools

    • PLM tools

    • 3D Design tools

    • MS Office, Project and MS Visio

Education Requirements:  Technical degree or comparable experience

Experience Requirements:             

  • Experienced Level:     3 (+) Years of Relevant Industry Experience

  • Senior Level:                   8 (+) Years of Relevant Industry Experience

 

Candidates must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder)
