Customer Success Specialist - Writer
Our small but talented Klaviyo Customer Academy Team is looking for an additional writer to join the team. In this role you’ll be writing a variety of content - from technical how-to articles, to training content to long-form guides to help our customers understand the business and product elements that can be brought together to bring them great success. We’re not going to call this a “Technical Writer” because you will do so much more, but breaking down technical components into bite-size understandable chunks for our customers is a big part of this job. You’re going to have some fun with it as well as we want to completely transform the way technical information is delivered and provide video, training and other assets to help our customers grow successful ecommerce businesses.
The type of person we are looking for:
- Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones
- Impeccable spelling and grammar
- A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online
- Great research, organizational, and learning skills
- High comprehension of technology and writing to help customers understand our technology
- An understanding of formatting articles on the web
- Passionate learner who can take complex information and turn it into easy-to-understand copy
Responsibilities:
- Create clear and concise how-to articles about how to use the Klaviyo product
- Write scripts for training videos and other content for our Customer Success websites (our Help Center and Academy sites)
- Maintain and update existing help center articles based on inbound requests, product updates and develop regular maintenance process
- Work with Product teams to understand upcoming updates and changes and manage
- Edit content produced by other members of the team
- Maintain and improve on our customer communication style guides for each of our web properties
