Copywriter, Ninja Creative Team
We're looking for a Copywriter to join Ninja’s Creative Team. The ideal candidate should be versatile and able to write across all platforms. Our writer will be experienced but must be humble and willing to laugh and learn with the rest of us. Our culture is fast-growing, fast-paced and unpredictable. Experience:
A good candidate has a robust knowledge of branding, advertising and social media, and is ready to roll their sleeves up and get to work. She/he is curious, conceptual, driven and versatile. As a member of the Ninja Creative Team, the copywriter will develop conceptual ideas and copy for everything from social campaigns, emails, and videos to packaging, in-store displays, and cookbooks. So, it’s worth repeating—versatility is key. Experience and a passion for bringing product stories to life and creating brand loyalty is a must.

- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable with fast-paced, highly iterative environment.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborate across the whole organization – including Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Quality.
- Ability to lead, influence and inspire cross-functional teams to develop concepts from beginning stages to final execution for ongoing and seasonal campaigns. Includes: Manifestos, product definitions and names, and marketing campaigns.
- Passionate, creative storyteller with knack for bringing ideas to life.
- Embraces change and able to drive action in the face of ambiguity.
- Detail and action-oriented with can-do attitude and “how can we” thinking.
- Open to being challenged and believes constructive feedback drives better results and outcomes.
- Comfortable presenting, directly communicating with, and being challenged by senior leadership.
- Desire to becoming fully versed in our products and be able to speak to them with comprehensive understanding.
- Maintaining focus on the consumer; so that all product communication is as clear and impactful as possible.
- Constantly driving for better answers and honing through iterations.
- Able to write on demand
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of work experience, agency experience preferred.
- Must have an excellent grasp of the written word and be able to adjust writing style for the desired impact.
- Experience writing long form and short form copy across all media, especially the social and digital spaces.
- Everyone also says this, but our environment is highly collaborative so it’s important that you are a team player.
- Experience with food or small appliances is a plus.
