Content Specialist
Joining the Content Strategy team, this individual is responsible for supporting and executing branded content strategies that support both Ninja and Shark.
The Content Specialist will play a critical role in developing and executing content that ladder up to the company’s overall brand goals, drive traffic to brand and retail sites, organic social media, community, and more. The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starter with proven skills and experience in digital content programs – from audience insight development and narrative strategies to measurement and optimization.
We need someone who is passionate about content trends, is an innovative thinker, and ready to roll up their sleeves and build a world-class global content program.
Responsbilities:
- Collaborate with partners in brand marketing, creative and digital to deliver content aligned with business priorities and communications strategies
- Support all branded content creation. Content will take the form of written product and recipe content, brand partnership content, pre-recorded brand videos, and more
- Work hand-in-hand with Senior Content Strategist and culinary team to support recipe development, copyediting, asset creation, and upload to Ninja’s recipe website
- Aid in the creation of how-to, testimonial, and branded video content, partnering with both internal and external stakeholders to draft scripts, identify content creators, film, and edit content
- Identify and build strategic partnerships with brand advocates, external content creators, celebrity chef talent, technology influencers, and more to aid in content creation
- Analyze data to extract performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities for all owned content
- Generate creative production and copywriting briefs for all content types
- Work hand-in-hand with Creative team to manage a library of digital assets
- Identify and drive experiential content opportunities across both brands
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and how all content types (video, blog, organic social, etc.) fit in across email, paid, longform media, and more
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research tools
- Excellent writing/editing skills, with the ability to write and edit content for a wide range of audiences
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience working with influencers and content creators a plus
- Experience working with digital agencies a plus
- Familiarity with WordPress a plus
- BA or BS in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
- 1-3 years of experience working in Social Media/PR/Communications/Marketing, preferably in a Content Coordinator/Specialist/Manager, or similar role
