The Follain family is currently in search of a Content Producer to join our team! This role is responsible for leading the development of highly engaging content to educate consumers about the clean beauty movement and Follain’s unique position in the space. They will work with the creative team to develop assets that help us engage and inspire consumers as well as drive website traffic and Follain brand awareness. The person in this role has exceptional collaborative and project management skills as well as proven experience as a story teller developing breakthrough content.

Responsibilities

  • Given Follain’s brand positioning and business objectives, the Content Producer owns the strategy and calendar around the content that will be developed to support these goals
  • Works with creative team, including writers, graphic designers, videographers/photographers, editors and producers to create and execute innovative and compelling content to build the clean beauty movement and increase Follain brand awareness
  • Manages all photo and video production needs including concepting, photo and video shoots, pre-production and set styling
  • Ensures content is on brand, consistent in voice, tone, and look & feel
  • Develops standards, systems and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies
  • Establishes work flows for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content
  • Collaborates with marketing channel owners to amplify content through SEO, Youtube, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, brand partners, influencers, and vendor partners
  • Manages analytics around content reach, engagement, website traffic, and new customer conversions to develop recommendations on content strategy and distribution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience in content creation for a consumer brand in digital channels
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Past experience managing freelancers, creative resources and production needs for campaigns and content projects
  • Understands SEO, social media and earned distribution channels and can demonstrate past work has achieved reach and engagement goals
  • Extremely organized with attention to detail; proven project manager that can work across creative groups and business organizations to accomplish goals
  • Creative and original thinker, resourceful and customer-centric orientation
  • Entrepreneurial and self-starter spirit willing with bias towards rapidly testing & iterating
  • Creative skills a plus: graphic design, photography, videography, copywriting
