  • Contribute to the development and execution of Devo’s content marketing strategy, plans, and editorial calendar on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing colleagues and subject-matter experts from across Devo to develop engaging, original, easy-to-consume materials that support the overall marketing plan and drive brand awareness, thought leadership, customer growth and retention, website traffic, engagement, and sales leads.
  • Write and edit blogs, website content, product collateral (eBooks, datasheets, etc.), contributed articles, and other marketing materials.
  • Be a leader of best practices in messaging, grammar, writing and style.
  • Actively follow relevant industry trends and topics; research and develop content topics to amplify Devo’s thought leadership positions.

Qualifications:

  • Superb writing and editing skills.
  • Familiarity with guidelines of the AP Stylebook.
  • Creative thinker with the skill to clearly articulate complex technical topics in support of strategic business objectives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for precision and excellence in everything you do.
  • Ability to work on a cross-functional, global team and handle multiple simultaneous priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • An energetic, team-based attitude. You are always willing and ready to jump in to help wherever you can.

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience writing and editing content in a corporate environment for a B2B IT audience, ideally at a software company in the security industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, marketing, or equivalent educational or work experience. Professional journalists who have covered technology beats will be considered.
  • Experience adapting content for different uses, formats, audiences and platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO and Google Analytics connected with content consumption by external audiences.
