Job Description
The Content Localization Manager works with Product, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams to deliver quality localized content in multiple languages. Manager owns, creates, and drives initiatives and processes that ensure quality, scale and quick turnaround response.
The Opportunity:
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Marketing and Customer Services to plan and deliver content localization for new products, new market and launches
Manage translation projects from inception through completion, linguistic quality assurance, error content detection and audits
Build and manage relationships with Flywire vendors, including answer linguistic queries, providing industry and product context and reviewing suggested dialect and language improvements
Lead the investment and development of localization practices, tools and processes to keep pace with Flywire scaling business
Instrument metrics and reporting to track progress, quality and resolution time of project requests
Qualifications
Here's What We Are Looking For:
5+ years experience in content localization and translation
Fluency in English and one of Chinese, Korean, Spanish or Portuguese
Organized self-starter, who can effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects independently - Experience in project management is highly desired
Familiar with Translation Management tools such as OneSky (or similar) and its integration in mobile and web applications
Effective communicator with proven ability to balance multiple cross-functional stakeholders
Experienced in defining scope and schedule while flexible in accommodating scope changes and interruptions
