Content Developer
As a Bullhorn Operations Content Developer, you will play a key role in building out functional and technical documentation, with special focus on enablement for Professional Services and our implementation partners. You will consult with stakeholders within the Professional Services department and will leverage your analytical skills and strong knowledge of technical functions and processes to understand and translate the information obtained into functional and technical enablement documentation, process flows and application documentation for the department.
You will also ensure that our documentation is organized in a logical and easily navigable format, and accompanied by whatever visuals best suit each element (screenshots, video tutorials, flowcharts, and so on).
As a Content Developer, a typical day might include:
Identifying gaps in procedural and technical documentation, and working with the relevant parties to understand and produce documentation to fill those gaps.
Working with the Operations team to document adjustments to existing processes.
Auditing current documentation for veracity, and adjusting/rewriting as needed.
Recording and distributing short video guides to demonstrate new features and/or processes in Professional Services systems.
Producing templates as needed for client-facing documentation such as issue logs, risk registers and surveys.
Improving the information architecture of new and existing documentation so that information is easy to find
Managing expectations, proactively communicating any potential issues, and delivering great solutions across the department (and organization!).
This job might be for you if you have:
Demonstrated experience in Requirements Sourcing and Business Process Analysis
Ability to work on multiple projects working under tight timelines
Experience working with cross functional teams, leading and following as and when needed
Impeccable verbal and written English skills, strong presentation skills
An eye for detail, and an inquiring mind
Bonus points for:
Knowledge of cloud or working in a SaaS environment
Experience in managing documentation in Confluence or similar content management system.
