Content Writer, Marketing
We are hiring for a full-time Content Writer to be one of the initial creative hires for our new ASICS Global Marketing Operations team. This individual will writing engaging content driven by a solid understanding of SEO best practices and strategies that help ASICS’ new branding I Move Me, come to life online. This is an ideal role for someone who likes the variety of working on all kinds of creative projects—from landing pages, to blog, to email, to social media, and brand work.
The role will be a part of a team which serves as an in-house content creation team supporting multiple business units across ASICS. The ideal candidate is conceptually creative but is able to execute projects quickly and precisely, independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the marketing team to write blog posts, copy for landing pages, emails, web banners, social, and more.
- Collaborate with e-commerce, product marketing, and regional teams to quickly turn around projects on ASICS.com.
- Work with the Marketing Operations team and external agencies to evolve and maintain the brand book and content process, as well as to write content/copy according to brand standards and brand voice.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant writing experience.
- BA/BS in English, Communications, Journalism, or a similar field.
- Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones.
- Experience using SEO and consumer data to inform content strategy.
- A passion for writing and an obsession with words.
- An excellent understanding of grammar and written language.
- The ability to work with minimal direction under tight deadlines in fast-paced environment. It’s important that you’re willing to look for answers and ideas yourself rather than only waiting to be told.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects at once. This is a must.
