About the project

Fixpoint is hiring Computer Systems Engineer/Architects for a research project at a leading AI company. You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Computer Systems Engineer/Architect.

You're a good fit if you have experience with:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining complex computer systems
  • Analyzing system requirements and translating them into efficient solutions
  • Designing and managing cloud-based infrastructures
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams

or have similar experience.


RequirementsMust-have qualifications
  • Have 5+ years full-time work experience
  • Native-level English skills
  • U.S. residency
  • Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet.
  • Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule).
Nice-to-haves
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of system performance tuning, monitoring, and observability
  • Background in data architecture, including databases

BenefitsCompensation & logistics
  • Hourly pay: $32 – $64, commensurate with experience and project fit.
    • Hourly rate may be higher for exception candidates
  • Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours.
  • You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will.
  • Entirely remote; work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met.
