The Opportunity

The $1.2T automotive industry is a pillar of American culture, representing nearly 5% of U.S. GDP and shaping how people live and move every day. At the center of this ecosystem are dealerships—trusted local businesses that help consumers navigate one of the most important purchases they make.

Today, the industry is at an inflection point. Consumers expect the same speed, personalization, and convenience they experience in modern digital-first industries. At the same time, tighter margins and rising costs are driving a need for operational efficiency beyond what traditional software can support. Together, these shifts create a powerful opportunity to reimagine how dealerships deliver seamless experiences and build lasting customer relationships.

Dealers who modernize how they communicate and operate will unlock efficiency, deepen loyalty, and win long-term relationships. It is time to upgrade automotive retail to the 21st century.

About Mia

Mia Labs is an investor-backed startup on a mission to modernize dealership operations and transform the automotive consumer experience. Our AI agent, Mia, turns every call or inquiry into an opportunity, improving customer satisfaction and dealership performance through automation that feels human. We are trusted by some of the nation's largest dealership groups and are rapidly scaling our team, product offerings, and customer base.

Who You Are:

You combine strong technical skills with exceptional bedside manner. You communicate clearly, create structure in ambiguity, and build trust with dealerships, leveraging those relationships to seamlessly manage subscriptions, secure renewals, and identify strategic upsell opportunities.

We are looking for candidates located in CST and EST time zones.

What you will do:

  • Own customer relationships end-to-end—onboarding, adoption, success, and renewals.

  • Drive revenue growth within your book of business by proactively identifying expansion opportunities, managing software subscriptions, and executing strategic upsells.

  • Lead technical onboarding, configuring workflows, call routing, and CRM integrations.

  • Develop deep product knowledge and act as the expert on system behavior and workflows.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues across telephony, integrations, and configuration in partnership with engineering.

  • Use dashboards, SQL, and analytics tools to understand customer performance and recommend improvements.

  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical users, translating complex concepts simply.

  • Support feature launches, pilots, and customer feedback loops that inform product direction.

  • Deliver training, documentation, and business reviews that drive customer adoption and ROI.

  • Identify risks and proactively resolve friction points to ensure long-term success.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7 years in customer success, solutions engineering, or technical account management.

  • Strong technical aptitude—comfortable understanding integrations, telephony systems, CRM data, and automation workflows.

  • Deep understanding of car dealership operations and workflows.

  • Skilled in SQL and analytics tools; able to interpret data and tell clear, actionable stories.

  • Excellent communicator with outstanding bedside manner and client-facing confidence.

  • Organized, process-driven, and effective in fast-moving startup environments.

  • Experience with dealership operations or automotive systems is a plus.

Nice to haves

  • Familiarity with conversational AI, LLMs, or automation technologies.

  • Strong understanding of dealership workflows across sales and service.

  • Prior experience supporting AI or automation-driven products.
