The Chief Solutions Engineer serves as the principal technology strategist and solutions leader, responsible for shaping Xenith Solutions’ technical vision in alignment with customer missions across the Department of Defense (DoD), Federal-Civilian Agencies (FED-CIV), and Intelligence Community (IC). This role provides forward-looking technology leadership, guiding investments in emerging capabilities such as AI/ML, cyber resiliency, data, cloud, and edge computing to ensure mission-focused, secure, and compliant solutions.
As a trusted advisor to senior leadership and customer stakeholders, the Chief Solutions Engineer translates mission requirements into actionable technology roadmaps that balance near-term operational needs with long-term modernization strategies. The position drives technical leadership in shaping opportunities, technical writing, and delivering on solutions to expand Xenith’s footprint in the market.
Strategic Technology Leadership
  • • Serve as the principal technical strategist responsible for evaluating and recommending emerging technologies aligned to our customers’ mission needs.
  • • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and customer stakeholders, ensuring solutions are mission-focused, secure, and compliant with DoD/IC/Federal standards.
  • • Provide briefings to senior corporate leadership on market trends and areas of investment to futureproof the company.
  • • Translate customer operational / mission requirements into technical roadmaps balancing near-term mission outcomes with long-term modernization strategies.
  • • Support in M&A activities evaluating company capabilities, technology(ies) and fit with Xenith Solutions.
  • • Maintain awareness of DoD budgets, priorities, and technology roadmaps to inform solution direction and investment.
Solution Architecture & Innovation (IR&D)
  • • Design solutions leveraging AI/ML, cyber, data, cloud, and Zero Trust technologies tailored to defense and national security environments, requirements, and predicted future needs.
