The Associate, Performance Marketing is responsible for driving the execution of our Paid Search and Affiliate Marketing campaigns. This role demands a detail-oriented marketer with expertise in managing hands-on execution within paid platforms, specifically Google and Bing. Experience with affiliate platforms is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of both the search and affiliate landscape. This person will bring a data-driven approach to campaign management, a passion for optimization, and a track record of achieving significant growth through digital advertising.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of paid search and affiliate marketing campaigns, inclusive of budgeting, optimization, and reporting
- Platform ownership includes Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Impact (affiliate marketing platform)
- Within search, responsibilities include analyzing keyword performance, ad copy/landing page testing, reviewing SKU and product group trends, and recommending structural campaign updates
- Within the affiliate channel, responsible for constant communication with affiliate partners, briefing in creative needs for each partner, evaluating new opportunities, and managing bookings directly within the Impact platform
- Manage technical aspects of account set up, including catalog feed and pixel placement for all channels, and ensure they are set up to best serve all channels
- Responsible for optimizing spending to deliver traffic, revenue, and ROAS targets. Must constantly assess performance and adjust appropriately to ensure the best outcomes for the business.
- Responsible for regular reporting on paid traffic that includes insights and recommendations for improvements
- Partner with the Marketing Analytics team on usage of Google Analytics in addition to advanced analytical approaches, including Incrementality
- Stay up to date on industry trends, news, emerging platform updates or technologies as it pertains to paid channels
- Work with external technology and publisher partners as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in managing paid search and affiliate campaigns
- Previous experience working on an eCommerce retail brand either directly or through an agency
- Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing
- An action-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving results
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Team Player who brings positive energy to the team
