Job Responsibilities:
- In Line Inspection
- Leak Testing
- Documentation Repair welds
- Fast Response in case of systematic welding defects
- Camera-Offset
- Riveting
- Backup for all OPs
- Operating machines or using manual methods in a safe manner to meet production goals.
- Assess welds to ensure cleanliness and within designated specifications of customer requirements.
- Repair robot welds as needed
- Conduct test to evaluate weld quality
- Collaborate with engineering to address issues
- Reads and follows all work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Requirements:
- Graduation from related trade school or high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 1-3 years of related experience or combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of experience TIG welding. Experience with aluminum strongly preferred.
- Knowledge and ability to assess metal structures to identify and initiate repair of damaged welds.
- Ability to measure close tolerances (Metric & Imperial)
- Knowledge and ability to use small tools, operate air/hand tools, welders, grinder and buffing machines.
