The Role
As an Accounting Manager, you’ll be an essential member of our Finance and Operations team. Reporting to the CFO, this role requires meticulous attention to detail, the highest ethical standards, and the ability to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner. You have a reputation for excellence and your attention to detail is impeccable. For you, no task is too small or too big. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with ability to juggle multiple priorities. You will need to present financials effectively, verbally and in writing, to multiple levels (including executive level) and functions, so strong interpersonal skills are crucial.
Other responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation
- Ensure timely and accurate month end closing process
- Review monthly balance sheet and P&L analysis for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Support the CFO in assessing financial reporting risks
- Manage the preparation of schedules for the annual audit. Coordinate with external auditors and internal resources to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Assist with preparation and distribution of financial review packages
- Provide tax reporting and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements
- Ad Hoc projects as assigned
What You Need
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years experience in a Corporate Accounting role
- Ideal candidate will display an ability to frame and evaluate complex issues quickly and possess strong problem resolution
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills; intermediate to advanced experience with Excel
- Strong systems knowledge, including the ability to learn new tools quickly
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize work
- AdTech experience HUGE plus
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Public accounting experience a plus
