Business Accounting Integration Team

The Opportunity
As an Accountant on the Business Accounting Integration Team, you will have the exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with key areas of the CFO organization to help drive, test, analyze, and execute on General Ledger integration and transformation projects being implemented that have financial impacts. This role will work closely with business leaders across the Company and within the CFO Controllers Organization to analyze upcoming projects/initiatives within the Company. This position will leverage the Controllers regulatory requirements to assess the accounting impacts for projects in relation to our General Ledger. The individual will work closely with project teams and review business product documents and translate financial aspects into accounting specifications. You will play a key role in understanding the request/project, analyzing the accounting implications and integration considerations to the general ledger and all related testing with guidance from other members of the BAI team.
The Team
The Business Accounting Integration (BAI) Team, as part of the larger Controllers Organization, supports the CFO and operational business areas within the Company.
The BAI Team is comprised of motivated business consultants, that collaborate with one another and with various areas of the CFO organization daily. Each team partner shares the ability to think critically and creatively, strongly communicate, hold each other accountable, and maintain a positive attitude. The Impact:
As an Accountant - Business Accounting Integration Team, you will make the following impacts:
- Work with other members of the team to perform tailored testing of accounting integration feeds for projects to ensure operating effectiveness.
- Use business acumen, communication, leadership skills to develop and document business requirements and data relationships of varying duration, size, and complexity.
- Input into the Identification of key dependencies, system impacts, and activities required to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Partners with program managers and product owners to execute the delivery roadmap for their stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to map out existing and future-state data flows to assist with design and implementation decisions.
- Assess processes and routine tasks for improvement opportunities, to allow for increased efficiencies for future projects.
- Capable of applying knowledge received on each project to future project to handle all but the most complex problems independently.
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related major
- 4+ years of experience in accounting and/or audit (Preferably in public accounting)
- 2+ years knowledge and experience of U.S. GAAP
The Ideal Qualifications
- CPA or other professional designation
- Master's degree preferred
- Knowledge and experience with STAT
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Proficient working in MS Excel and SAP
- Background in transformational projects
- Experience in assessing financial/accounting impacts of major changes to the General Ledger
- Experience in documenting processes and developing new policies and procedures.
- Strong skill in using logical approaches to resolve issues.
- Ability to visualize the "larger picture" versus working in silos.
- Able to build and maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional groups.

Salary Range: $92,800.00-$121,800.00
