Internship Program

The CareSource Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment. We offer a 12-week, paid summer internship program for college students who want to separate themselves from the pack. This is an exciting opportunity to obtain real-world experience and prepare yourself for your career after college. The program offers:

Essential Functions:

  • Departmental Support – Support a wide range of Compliance and Regulatory deliverables for Program Integrity.

  • Data Analysis – Review reports and mitigate any identified issues for prohibited affiliations monitoring, regulatory reporting, and proactive identification of data aberrancies to prepare for quarterly regulatory reporting cycles.

  • Research – Review existing program integrity policies and procedures for necessary edits and confirmation of regulatory/provider agreement citations to maintain accuracy.

  • External Communication Review and Inventory Maintenance – Review current Program Integrity specific marketing materials for consistency and audit inventory for accuracy and necessary updates

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required

  • Current Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is required

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • SharePoint skills preferred

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

  • Effective listening and critical thinking skills

  • Dependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential information

  • Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Licensure and Certification:

  • None

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:

$35,200.00 - $56,200.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance. We are highly invested in every employee’s total well-being and offer a substantial and comprehensive total rewards package.
