As an Android software engineer at Lose It!, you'll help design and build new features, products, and capabilities for our mobile app. We believe that small teams of talented people can do great things, so we're looking for someone that can contribute to all phases of building a great product.
As part of this role you will have the opportunity to work with people across the company (engineers within R&D, leaders within different departments, engineers supporting business operations) and make highly visible and impactful changes to optimize our operations. You will spend time getting a deep understanding of different personas and their workflow challenges, then collaborate with them to design a better experience. When building software solutions, you will extend data collectors, build dashboards for different stakeholders (including leadership), and develop new “smart automation” capabilities for our EngProd platform and the internal apps and bots (slack, github, etc.) that it powers.
As a member of the predictions domain, you’ll be directly responsible for the systems that enable customers to use machine learning models to assess risks of loan applications, control temperatures of manufacturing furnaces, predicting disease outcomes, capturing terrorists, and a huge number of other applications. The goal is to make predictions easier, more widely available and, of course, trustworthy.
We are looking for engineers who are
Killer features (TL/DR)
Experience delivering new functionality to customers using a fully automated CICD pipeline
Experience with all aspects of the DevOps toolset, including but not limited to:
Infrastructure as code
Deployment and operational UX
