Boston’s tech ecosystem has been busy. Between companies building technology that uses smartphones for medical testing and startups developing self-driving planes, a lot of innovation is happening in the Boston tech world. Read on to see what you may have missed. 

Merlin Labs secured $105M. Tech-fueled aviation startup Merlin Labs secured $105 million last week in its Series B round from Snowpoint, Baillie Gifford and GV. The company’s total funding to date is now $130 million. With its artificial intelligence technology, Merlin Labs is working to create autonomous or self-driving flights that can travel between destinations without a human operator. [Built In Boston]

Robin raised $30M. Robin, a hybrid work startup that helps organizations adjust to and maintain hybrid workplaces, raised $30 million in its Series C funding round led by Tola Capital. With its new capital, Robin plans to hire, pursue strategic partnerships and invest in external expansion. The raise comes after a successful quarter for Robin. Wysa raked in $20M. Boston-based Wysa, an artificial intelligence-backed mental health services chatbot, is eyeing international expansion after raising a $20 million funding round. The raise, led by HealthQuad with participation from British International Investment, Google Assistant Investments and others, is set to fuel further expand into the U.S., U.K., India and other global markets. The company also plans to expand its chatbot accessibility on WhatsApp by creating more multilingual functions. [Built In Boston]

Healthy.io received FDA clearance. Healthy.io, a startup that makes technology that will allow consumers to utilize their smartphones as medical devices, gained FDA clearance for its Minuteful Kidney test. The test can help people use their smartphone camera to conduct a urine test that identifies early-stage proteins found in patients with chronic kidney disease. [PR Newswire]

Wasabi partnered with The LFC Foundation. Cloud storage company Wasabi announced a partnership with The LFC Foundation, the official charity of Liverpool Football Club, to launch a community mental health program.
