• Lead the effort in managing and monitoring a windows-based physical and virtual testing environment with 30 physical systems and a dynamic set of virtual machines running on VMWare ESXi.
• Manage the provisioning, deployment and ongoing health of these systems, as they are used to validate the functionality, stability, and malware coverage of Barkly software.
• Determine server/VM capacity for new environment build-up.
• Work with development staff to automate the deployment of software and tests in the labs.
• As necessary, analyze, diagnose and fix complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Work closely with Development and DevOps to ensure alignment with current product goals.

You will succeed if you have:

• Windows administration experience including:
• Experience with configuration management and monitoring tools
• Active Directory administration experience
• Remote deployment of software to Windows endpoints

Even better if you have:

• Experience deploying and managing systems in public and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, specifically)
• Expertise with virtualization platforms (VMware, specifically)
• Experience with a scripting language, and a willingness to learn and help us improve our automation environment
