The mission of the HubSpot Academy team is to educate and inspire so that we, together, transform the way the world does business. The Academy team does this with the different forms of educational content that make up their content programs. These forms of content vary from blog posts, to step-by-step guides, all the way to certification courses. HubSpot Academy builds training for both lead generation and customer success.

The Video Editor will assist with editing all Academy video content. The editor will also work directly with the Video Producer to plan and shoot videos. They will assist Academy Professors to record voiceover for tool walkthrough videos. They will record and edit the video screencast portions of the tool walkthrough videos. The ideal candidate has extensive post-production experience and has a passion for all aspects of video production. They should have a knack for helping others, and a desire to drive bottom-line growth.

This position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and may require minimal travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Edit class and certification videos, including audio, still images, and on-screen video
• Record and edit screencasts of tool walkthroughs
• Work directly with Academy professors to assist in recording voiceover
• Work directly with video producer to plan Academy videos
• Assist with filming of Academy videos
• Assist with live video broadcasts
• Ensure consistency throughout all Academy video content

IDEAL CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE:

• Passion for video production and editing
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is required
• Some videography experience is required
• Live video experience preferred
• A deep passion for learning
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• A careful attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Includes a video editing reel prior to interview
