The Vice President, Worldwide Pre-Sales Systems Engineering will build, manage, develop and lead an organization of Pre-Sales Systems Engineers partnered with our growing enterprise sales organization. This role has direct responsibility to lead a team of 30+ technical individuals supporting our teams focusing on both enterprise customers, service provider partners and alliances to drive products and services consumption. This role will also be responsible for influencing strategic decisions on sales, go to market, product management/marketing, our long-term vision, and for influencing the sale of complex, large-scale technology solutions to client executives across the globe.

What We're Looking For

  • We are seeking a seasoned leader with a minimum of 15 years of sales, pre-sales and/or consulting services experience in the virtualization, cloud computing architecture and data center infrastructure domain. We’re looking for someone who will lead from the front and be our voice to the field and customer community. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of building and managing global, high-performance, customer centric teams, who have experience partnering with direct and partner sales to grow product and services revenue. 

What You'll Bring

  • Experience working in a growth stage environment and an appreciation of how the dynamics of growth affect corporate culture
  • Proven ability to work closely with field sales and partner organizations involving joint client presentations and opportunity pursuits.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead and motivate a global team of highly experienced consultants and pre-sales engineers.
  • Manage a large diverse team of senior leaders, first line managers and individual contributors across the globe.
  • Demonstrated experience managing in a matrix model supporting sales, corporate product teams, support organizations, professional services and enterprise partner teams.
  • Proven ability to communicate professionally with teams, customers and partners at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing principles, features, and business & IT value propositions for Enterprise customers and Service Providers
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal, and motivational skills with cultural diversity engagement awareness.
