TripAdvisor is seeking a passionate and analytical senior executive experienced in driving growth through strategic acquisitions, maximizing business integration capabilities, and building and executing business strategies.

Reporting to the CFO, this person will work closely with TripAdvisor’s CEO and senior leadership team and is responsible for evolving our M&A approach, researching the market to identify new areas of growth, pro-actively selecting and developing M&A opportunities, deal execution and development of a post merger integration plan. Successful candidates must have experience working with international companies preferably within the technology space. The ideal candidate will work out of our global headquarters in Needham, MA.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and map market landscapes to determine which areas are attractive for organic and M&A growth
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop a pipeline of M&A opportunities
• Manage, retain, and grow a team of highly skilled professionals
• Perform valuation analysis and drive due diligence and negotiation process
• Guide and support post acquisition integration efforts

What we seek:

• Proven Corporate Development background gained in a high growth or tech oriented business
• Excellent deal skills combined with a strategic, value creation and operational mindset
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical skills (financial and valuation)
• Ability to conduct complex market, industry and company research
• Track record of sourcing, negotiating, structuring, completing and integrating successful acquisitions
• Must be great team player that works well in collaborative situations
• Experience gained in either, or a combination of, other Corporate Development roles, Investment Banking, or Private Equity experience
• BS degree required, MS preferred
