MOO is looking to hire an energetic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our vertical marketing team supporting new customer acquisition. This is a 6-month full-time contract position with the possibility of extension to a permanent position. The Vertical Marketing Manager will help develop cross-channel marketing plans, build brand partnerships, and execute live events aimed at growing MOO’s vertical customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Senior Marketing Manager in managing MOO’s vertical marketing efforts and help shape the ongoing vertical strategy for North America
  • Help refine the brand partnership and events strategy, identifying and executing against brand elevating partnerships and activations that align with MOO’s brand vision
  • Help to identify, define and launch new marketing programs and partnerships, aimed at acquiring customers in a relevant and meaningful way
  • Develop and execute branded partnerships with likeminded partners to grow the MOO brand
  • Manage all vertical specific tradeshows and event activations, from research and planning, to onsite setup, to post event follow up and reporting
  • Work with the Content, PR and CRM teams to amplify marketing activities and help improve awareness and impact among target audiences
  • Really get to know our customers— what they buy, what they love, what they need
  • Provide regular reports and continuously analyze the business impact of vertical marketing initiatives; provide thoughtful data-driven insights which drive the ongoing vertical strategy

About You:

  • 5+ years professional work experience in a marketing role, preferably in a B2B start-up or fast-growth tech company
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Experience working collaboratively alongside multiple teams and departments
  • Exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and follow-through; you enjoy multitasking and have an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Have solid analytical skills with a deep interest in owning the numbers; you love getting your hands dirty with data sets and spreadsheets, but are able to extrapolate and distill the information into easy to understand storylines
  • Creative and thoughtful— you’re a big picture thinker who isn’t afraid to dive deep in the details of execution mode, problem-solving as needed and embracing new challenges as they arise
  • Experience in a fast-moving, dynamic business environment where evolving priorities and aggressive deadlines are the norm
  • An ability and willingness to travel domestically to tradeshows and other events— travel requirements ~1 week/month
