Turbonomic is seeking a Technical marketing manager (TMM) who understands the IT infrastructure market, and has deep experience with enterprise software marketing and sales. You will be tasked with designing and creating various types of technical marketing and sales collateral to support Turbonomic go-to-market activities. As Technical Marketing Manager, you’ll work closely with the product management and engineering teams to become an expert on new Turbonomic capabilities, so you can enable our technical pre-sales teams to drive demand and ultimately sales of Turbonomic products. In addition, you’ll frequently engage with customers for technical meetings and with the field for training in support of new product capabilities.

What You'll Do

  • Develop technical marketing plans through deep engagement with product marketing, product management, engineering, sales, and the broader marketing team
  • Design and develop technical sales and marketing collateral including: demos, workshops, product presentations, blogs, white papers, field training courses and competitive tear-downs
  • Deliver technical enablement to sales engineering and partners
  • Drive technical sales initiatives
  • Support technical customer meetings

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in B2B enterprise software
  • Experience with enterprise software sales either as a sales engineer (SE) or supporting SEs
  • Experience building technical sales collateral. You are the kind of person who loves to roll up your sleeves and get your hands on technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Hands-on experience with cloud and virtualized infrastructures
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
