The Role
We are revolutionizing the world of premium video advertising. Your work will impact online audiences and marketers worldwide - seriously.

As one of the Engineering leaders at Pixability, you will be in a position to architect, build, and improve Pixability’s technology and product. Your contributions will also extend all the way to our culture and even our branding.

The impact you will have on your team of Web UI engineers cannot be overstated. From expert-level coding craft, through problem analysis and solution design, to architecture improvements, and helping your teammates learn and grow, you will own it all. Think Big.

The Team
Love for technology runs in our veins. We try to adhere to the best practices of SCRUM (see our Tech Blog posts on our Agile Morphing). Like clockwork, we conduct daily stand-ups, sprint review / demo meetings, and retrospectives. We hate thrashing. We want to build things the right way. We conduct backlog grooming meetings, early project reviews, and blue-sky design sessions. We collaborate very closely with both the Product Management team and the internal users of our software.

We believe in empowering engineers to come up with solutions (not just implement them). At the end of every sprint, engineers demonstrate what they have built to the rest of the team, the Product Management team, and other department stakeholders. Every month we show off the key features we’ve built to the whole company. Our goal is to continue to innovate quickly while maintaining the highest levels of quality.

What You Bring to the Party
This is not your first rodeo. You believe in quality and clarity. You know there is always room to employ best practices and simplicity. You value attention to detail, organizing your work well, and sticking to commitments big and small. You are very proactive in your approach to collaboration and communication.

You feel comfortable managing small dev teams. You have built and then supported complicated web applications including the genre of reporting apps that sit on top of big data analytics services. You know and can navigate the large ecosystem of JavaScript technologies with ease. You like to keep up with the latest developments in the Web UI development industry. You have leveraged at least one big UI framework to build an app from the ground up (Angular, Ember, React, Backbone, ExtJS, etc). You are familiar with the challenges and solutions often seen to support app performance, internationalization, compatibility, and customizations. You thrive on designing and coding something new and cool that will be used everyday by people worldwide.

Local candidates only please – no relocation is available for this position.
