POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging computer software systems. Touch code at every level - from the HTML/Javascript/CSS UI, to Java servlets and backend services, down to the database. Document and present designs for peer technical review and take full ownership of projects. Mentor more junior developers and work effectively in a highly-productive close-knit team.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; plus 24 months of work experience in job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation. Position requires: 1. 2 (two) years of professional software development experience; 2. Solid understanding of Java and Object-Oriented architectures; 3. Linux; 4. Understanding of and ability to work with databases using SQL; 5. Java, JavaScript and 6. Related open source technologies such as Apache, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, and Hadoop.
