Acorio ServiceNow Architects bring their deep understanding of system and software architecture to design complex solutions on the ServiceNow platform for our customers. They lead and prescribe clients to best practice, and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals. Their ServiceNow skills are kept on the bleeding-edge, they innovate IP on the platform and serve as technical and process subject matter experts to clients and teammates.

A Day in the Life:

  • Use deep understanding of system and software architecture to design solutions using the perspective of the customer
  • Innovate IP
  • Contribute to thought leadership at Acorio and in the industry
  • Serve as technical and process best practice advisor/SME to customers and team mates
  • Assist with leading discovery workshops
  • Perform story breakouts
  • Define prerequisites (what gets developed first)
  • Manage customer calls independently
  • Provide best practice guidance to less experienced consultants
  • Proactively keeps ServiceNow skills current
  • Lead and prescribe clients to best practice
  • Responsible for the technical quality of customer projects
  • Create design documents & diagrams
  • Ensures technical team follows the Acorio methodology
  • Oversees Go-Live planning
  • Attend workshops, meetings and conference calls
  • Develop against stories assigned in the SDLC
  • Estimate time or resources needed to complete projects
  • Communicate to EM progress and forecast changes
  • Attend sprint planning and review meetings
  • Perform testing
  • Mediate defects
  • Write project documentation & guides
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of ServiceNow experience
  • Expertise with the ServiceNow product suite and expertise in one of the following: CMS, Orchestration, Integration
  • Expertise in at least one area outside of IT (e.g. HR Service Management, Facilities, etc.)
  • Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Angular JS, Web Services, etc.) and of working in a SaaS environment
  • Relational database knowledge
  • Practical experience with ServiceNow API's, Web Services
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts in understandable business terms
  • Ability to reason, develop and evaluate options and propose solutions
  • Lead and guide customers with confidence
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Understands and articulates design decisions' impact to maintenance and longevity

Travel: Up to 25% travel is typical for this role
