Senior Trade Support Analyst (contract)
Our client is seeking A Senior Trade Support Analyst to join its Investment Systems Support team. This team maintains and supports all software applications that support the Portfolio Management, Trading, Portfolio Accounting, and Custody operations of Putnam. The candidate will be responsible for the support of trading system applications and customers, including issue resolution, tracking and status reporting. They will monitor a high-volume Support Desk located on the trading floors to provide first-level support to users of investment and trading applications. This hands-on professional will be the primary contact for support and act as a liaison between the user and development teams.
Required Background:
7+ years relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, MIS, Computer Science or related field
Previous experience working with Investments and Investment Systems
Demonstrated expertise of Minerva, FIX protocol, eTrade and/or TransactTools TCM
Demonstrated expertise of SQL, Oracle and Access Database
Ability to have client relationship and analytical problem solving skills
Experience working with Vendors, Investment Users and Brokers
Experience with Putty, FileZilla and command prompts
Familiarity with Bloomberg
Knowledge of 3rd Party applications such as MarketAxess, MatLab, Eikon, MarkitWire, Symphony
Previous use of Jira - Kanban and Agile workflows
Familiarity with Office 365
