What You Will Do:

• Ownership of key components of the control plane on our backend servers
• Produce scalable, serviceable, and test-driven services and APIs in a fast paced environment
• Write code mostly in Go, also some in Python & C++
• Work in a scrum framework to deliver at high velocity
• Fix software issues and code irregularities
• Perform code maintenance, testing, and analysis
• Interact with team leaders or business stakeholders
• Work with quality assurance teams
• Perform code reviews
• Complete project assignments

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years experience
• Expert experience in Python required
• Experience in C++ and Go is a plus
• Experience working with scalable and distributed systems
• Experience with Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Redis or Kafka is a plus
• Definite plus if you have experience developing software for Linux
• Solid understanding of networking technologies and multithreading
• In-depth understanding of object oriented concepts and software design patterns
• Good at communicating technical subjects to a wide variety of audiences
• Creative, flexible, and quick to learn
• Have strong systematic skills
• Be able to meet project deadlines
• Be able to work on own initiative and be focused
• Work with teams cross functionally on Product Development

In 3 months, you will have:

• Contribute to our evolving backend server
• Integrated well in a team of 4 back end developers
• Understood completely the technical architecture of Fuze service as it exists
• Taken ownership of some back-end components
