What You’ll Work On:

Fitbit is seeking a Senior Product Designer to envision and create products and experiences that guide, encourage and motivate our users to build sustainable, healthy habits. This position works closely with our fitness and nutrition curriculum designers, product managers, UX research, other product designers and engineers from initial concept and strategy through the fine details of interaction design and product launches.

As part of our UX design team, you will be expected to tackle complex problems with brilliant solutions. You will design ground-breaking, yet accessible products and experiences. This position requires a proven track record of digital product design, service design and user-centered innovation.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience designing for digital products in the consumer technology industry
  • Experience in user-centered design methods, exploration, storytelling and detailed interaction design
  • Empathetic and inquisitive nature
  • A burning desire to solve problems ranging from big picture strategy to the fine details
  • Experience launching native mobile app products working closely with engineering teams
  • Understanding of behavior change models
  • A positive attitude, open mind, and a desire to collaborate and learn
  • Prototyping skills
  • Experience in service design
  • Experience with digital consumer health products is a plus
  • Passion for Fitbit’s mission
  • Comfortable with quarterly travel to our San Francisco office
