Sr Marketing Manager, Customer Engagement

THE ROLE:

We’re looking for…

Rue la la is seeking a top-notch marketing professional to join its dynamic and growing Marketing team. As a Senior Marketing Manager you will be responsible for designing large scale marketing campaigns as well as managing a variety of internal partnerships as a way to increase customer activation and retention. Additional responsibilities include designing and implementing rapid test and learn plans at the customer segment and channel level to drive business results.
This role requires a demonstrated track record of analytical rigor, creative problem solving, and data-driven campaign development. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in consumer marketing and demonstrated ability to increase customer value over time.

 

What you’ll accomplish…

  • Work independently to unlock opportunity areas within customer activation and onboarding in order to create a best in class new member experience, as well as to maximize business value and key customer metrics
  • Increase activation and repurchase rates for new members via various partnerships and internal channels.
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to analyze program trends in order to derive actionable insights to improve performance, conversion rates, and lifetime customer value.
  • Institute rigorous test-and-learn methodology and leverage technology to achieve desired results

THE RIGHT FIT:
You have…

  • 10+ years of direct experience managing marketing partners with a proven track record in developing and executing cross-channel marketing campaigns.
  • In-depth understanding of key industry metrics and the ability to recognize how they might impact the business
  • Experience developing digital media campaigns
  • Keen ability to identify and leverage insights that improve business performance
  • Tech savvy and comfortable with emerging media trends
  • Exceptional analytical horsepower and data-driven problem solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree is required

  • In addition, the candidate must be someone who is fun, has a genuine curious nature, works smart, and goes beyond usual approaches to solve problems and/or seize opportunities.

 

Bonus points for…

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau

  • Experience defining technology requirements to support strategic marketing initiatives
