As the organization has grown and engineering needs have become more sophisticated, the demand for a series of internal tools focused on getting things done in the organization has arisen. The objective of the Engineering Tools team is to promote transparency and raise visibility across all of engineering by building tools and dashboards to keep people connected and aligned. Responsibilities:

• Understand what engineers and engineering leadership need the most to get their jobs done.
• Ensure your software is well-designed, well-tested, and is scaleable
• Has strong front end skills and can help mentor/coach the team on frontend development
• Resolves Cross team dependencies
• Continuously push the limits in JavaScript, Vue, Node.js, Go, React and more
• Ensure you and your teammates are following good development practices and getting better every day
• Participate in Code Reviews and provide feedback to your fellow engineers

Requirements:

• Has strong front end skills and is able to mentor/coach the team on frontend development
• Demonstrates proactive leadership. Doesn't need to be assigned tasks, steps up to on take ownership of things and helps shape the team into a high performing team
• Leads by example. Demonstrates high performance delivery. We release features everyday.
• Background in 3rd party integration. Ability to think through a complex architecture for 3rd party integrations
• Is an expert in one or more JavaScript programming languages
• Demonstrates a high degree of personal accountability and is a team multiplier
• Loves to code, to write tests, and to problem solve and debug
• Learns continuously
• Creates a positive environment for the people around you
