Description:
Blink is looking for an experienced Senior Director of Business Development, preferably with B2C experience, to help fuel the rapid growth of one of the fastest growing smart home / internet of things startups.
The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience developing substantive business relationships at the most senior levels with Service Provider (Telecommunication, Cable, Satellite, Security, etc.) and Technology OEM companies. You will be a member of the senior management team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with senior management to identify business targets that make strategic sense
- Put together pitches that will entice targets to engage, including:
- Business model
- Sales and marketing strategy
- Technology strategy
- Engage with potential customers at the most senior “decision-maker” levels
- Manage engagements and drive to successful closure and subsequent volume sales
Qualifications:
- Successful track record of selling and developing partnerships at C Level in the Service Provider and/or OEM Technology businesses
- Proven success in new business development requiring strategic thinking
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong process/program management skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Tech savvy and keen awareness of consumer product and general high tech industry trends
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business, MBA a plus.
