EverTrue is a leading advancement software platform that supports fundraising efforts at educational institutions. Powered by institutional data and third-party insights, EverTrue provides streamlined access to donor data to help advancement offices more effectively engage constituents and maximize giving potential. The Role:

The DevOps engineer will be responsible for designing and maintaining the infrastructure, automation, and tooling for the EverTrue software platform and our engineering team. We utilize an infrastructure-as-code methodology, seeking to express all aspects of our platform as code, primarily using Chef.

Prior experience caring for Cassandra, Elastic Search, Kafka clusters on Amazon Services and familiarity with cluster management systems such as Mesos or Kubernetes as well as Terraform and Docker are a big plus. Deep understanding of Linux, networking and configuration management tools such as Chef are mandatory. Experience with Java & Ruby web applications desirable as well.`

Beyond the technical requirements of this position, we’re looking for someone to evangelize and enable the devops culture at Evertrue, working closely with the development teams to enable a high degree of self sufficiency.
