Department Overview: 

The Sales Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the processes, systems, and tools that enable our company’s growth. You will be responsible for providing reporting, in-depth analysis and operational support to Wellframe’s Chief Revenue Officer and senior management. In addition, you will be the go-to person for CRM support, sales forecasting, marketing and sales funnel analysis and process improvement. This position reports to the VP, Finance and Operations.

The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing and Finance to accelerate the sales cycle and deliver business insights. This role requires a mix of business acumen and technical expertise, along with an ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Success in the role will require a self-starter with a passion for data analysis, iterative improvement and collaborating with others to solve problems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the management and evolution of sales support systems / processes to support rapid growth
  • Work with sales leadership to provide insightful reporting on key metrics such as bookings and pipeline trends, forecasts, productivity, and performance
  • Own the quantitative analysis of the performance of our sales team and marketing campaigns
  • Assist with key sales planning activities during planning and budgeting cycle
  • Organize data on current and historical customer deals / pricing and then develop models to interpret and analyze future deal pricing
  • Act as the liaison between our sales team and legal for contract and proposal revisions
  • Manage enhancements to CRM and marketing systems to support efficient and effective workflows, data capture, handoffs between team members, etc.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training for the Sales organization
  • Ad-hoc analysis as required to aid management decision making

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years direct experience in Sales Operations at high-tech or software company or 3+ years in an analysis-intensive field such as consulting, finance or investment banking
  • BA/BS degree in business or related field
  • Expertise in data analysis: ability to effectively use data and analysis to tell a story
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner and effect positive change
  • In-depth understanding of Sales Operations business practices for sales processes, deal desk, proposal and contract development, and systems
  • Proficiency with Salesforce required; knowledge of Marketo preferred
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance- and deadline-driven environment
  • Results-oriented, attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple objectives and projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
