Salsify is looking for a Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives at our Boston, MA HQ. In this role, you will own and drive revenue by leading your team to acquire new business in key markets. You will also execute and implement our sales process and methodology within your team, achieve your quota each month, and uncover strategies to coach and develop your team.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a sales team to meet monthly goals: activity, metrics, forecasted opportunities, increase conversion and exceed revenue targets
  • Assist in sales cycle where appropriate: including leading executive presentations, negotiating final agreements and bringing opportunities to closure
  • Build skills, confidence and trust with direct reports as well as provide developmental feedback for continuous improvement
  • Strong sales skills and hands on situational coaching throughout the sales process Assist in development and implementation of strategy to increase ASP, reduce sales cycles and improve conversion
  • Responsible for territory design and forecasting analysisCollaborate with other sales managers, directors and executives across our organization to improve sales process
  • Supervise and conduct training including but not limited to sales process and methodologies, product updates, etc. Play a key role in the recruiting process
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of Salsify’s product offerings
  • Demonstrate Salsify’s core values
  • Understand leadership training styles and apply to interactions with direct reports
Qualifications
  • Experience leading a consultative sales process with a track record of consistently over-achieving targets
  • Software sales experience, experience in a sales management or team lead capacity
  • Experience calling on and working with c-level executives to deliver value and solutions (selling to a line of business is preferred)
  • Superior coaching skills - ability to observe, evaluate and use various techniques to improve results
  • Detail oriented and the ability to manage multiple objectives
  • Strong analytic skills to identify team and program organizational trends and resultsExperience selling a SaaS solution
