Public Relations Manager

Crimson Hexagon corporate marketing team is growing. We are looking for is someone who’s an expert in their field….but wants to be a part of the team, someone who’s tapped into the cultural zeitgeist--so that we can provide social data about what’s trending and a clear, concise communicator...but one who also gets excited about insights from cool data.
The ideal candidate thrives on building strong relationships internally and externally and gets excited to hunt for opportunities that lead to coverage. You will have a passion for transforming corporate milestones and data into compelling stories and crafting interesting content that goes beyond the press release.

Responsibilities:- Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop public relations strategy for Crimson Hexagon
- Actively manage agency relationships to ensure public relations strategy is executed in a timely, optimized manner
- Be the key cog in daily pitch, story and content creation to stay ahead of the news cycle and deliver timely content to media
- Work closely with C-Suite to develop and execute thought leadership campaigns
- Nurture and manage relationships with key industry analysts and identify opportunities to engage and educate on the company’s products, vision and services
- Work with the web team to ensure all coverage generated is represented on the company’s website and other relevant outlets
- Manage inbound PR requests (many from top level publications like The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Fast Company and more)
- Work with team to report on the program’s success
- Understanding of tech media
- Analyst relations experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years experience in a PR or corporate communications role
- Interest in social media and its business applications
- Exceptional writing and project management skills
