EnerNOC, a leading provider of technology-based energy management solutions, has an immediate need for a Product Manager to join our product management team.

In this role, you will drive EnerNOC’s Future of Demand Response (FDR) and Distributed Energy Resource (DER) initiatives within the global Demand Response product offering. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the product roadmap to create new value for EnerNOC’s customer base.

Your responsibilities for this role

• Contribute to the vision and strategy, and own the delivery for EnerNOC’s Demand Response (DR) product offerings.
• Be EnerNOC’s demand response market and customer expert by initiating customer research, conducting market analysis, and understanding the ecosystem landscape.
• Provide input on business cases to drive investment decisions and determine the metrics to measure and track success.
• Define requirements, prioritize feature sequence, and work hand-in-hand with Engineering through the development process.
• Coordinate closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Account Management to successfully launch new features and products to market.

What you need to succeed

• 5-7 years Product Management or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to translate between technical and business teams, and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Be a collaborate teammate who navigates through ambiguity, thinks globally, takes ownership of issues to drive them to resolution, and excels in a fast-paced environment.
• Upbeat attitude and a sense of humor.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the energy or utility industry
• Familiarity with Demand Response, Distributed Energy Resources, and Energy Markets
• Experience bringing B2B, service product offerings to market using Agile methodology
