As Product Manager, your focus will be to assist in the delivery of multiple consumer facing initiatives. You will organize and lead efforts to release products working closely with the Engineering, Licensee, Customer Service departments and other stakeholders. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; amazing attention to detail, and the drive to bring internal and external products to reality.

Leave your old job behind and step into the #PaintLife. We're a spirited group of folks on a mission to defend the creative spirit. Armed with enthusiasm, a go-get-'em attitude, and the occasional craft beer, the Paint NiteTeam will stop at nothing to bring creative entertainment to the masses. We're a small, profitable company with a start-up mentality and long-term vision for success. There are no small parts at Paint Nite; all our employees enjoy an equal voice, face-time with the big wigs, and the opportunity to grow indefinitely.

You Will:

  • Produce and maintain clear, prioritized product roadmaps
  • Define prioritized product requirements, acting as the proxy for the business teams to the Tech Team
  • Coordinate product launches with tech and business teams for maximum business impact
  • Work closely with internal and external development teams

You Have:

A successful candidate needs to demonstrate the following qualifications and experience with web and mobile applications.

  • Product vision: the ability to effectively gather input and requirements from all stakeholders and craft and communicate a successful, coherent, compelling vision for where the product needs to go
  • Mobile: Knowledge of “Best Practices” for developing mobile applications
  • Prioritization: the ability to make the really hard decisions about what's the most important next thing to build, providing clear guidance to the development team, engaging completely in the flexibility that an Agile development methodology provides to adjust priorities with each new sprint without using that as an excuse to waffle on what's most important and abandon work-in-progress before achieving at least the minimal viable capability.
  • Managing complexity: understanding the complexities of the multifaceted product to effectively serve the business license owners, the consumers, and Paint Nite operations, resolving or prioritizing the sometimes conflicting requirements of the various constituents. You must also be able to engage on the technical infrastructure, scalability, performance, and big data requirements alongside user-facing features.
  • User-centered design: actively cultivating relationships with license owners to regularly gather product ideas and feedback to keep their voice in product prioritization, alongside analysis of product usage and support metrics and trends
  • Deep and broad product and customer experience: the ability to draw on past success to think outside the box of the immediate solution, to consider potential new audiences, product line extensions, and marketing, technical, and social media partnerships

Additionally:

  • 3+ years of product management experience
  • Self motivated and willing to "do what it takes" to get the job done
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Great attention to detail and extreme accuracy

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.
