We are looking for a product and application expert to be a part of the overall sales process with the objective to drive revenue. This person will work with prospective customers closely working with the Sales, Program Management, Customer Services and Product Management.
In this role you will:
- Assist Enterprise Sales in presenting the product and technology to the prospects and existing customers.
- Be an expert in the product with complete knowledge of the technologies and the application software.
- Responsible for understanding the customer business problem and relating the product functionality and technology to Product Management.
- During the Pilot (Proof of Concept) phase, will be the primary liaison to the prospective customer’s Operations and IT organization as well as internal teams escalating in a timely manner when there are product gaps or shortcomings.
- Responsible for developing product and/or feature specifications for the customer and working the Product Management team to scope effort.
- Define/refine integration requirements to Product Management and communicate process and timeline to prospect.
- Maintain Technical relationship with 3rd party partner’s technical resources assigned to that prospect (Online Ordering, Loyalty, Labor Scheduling, BI etc.) for product integrations.
- Responsible for assisting Enterprise Sales and Marketing in response to Request for Proposal process.
- Once implementation process is completed, work with the Program Management and Enterprise Sales to advance customer to the next step in the sales process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years hospitality or related industry experience required
- Ability to handle complex customer communications fluently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Strong problem solving/trouble shooting skills
- POS and back office application knowledge required with experience in working in pilot (Proof of Concept) environment a plus
- Restaurant operations experience a plus
- Ability to manage multiple customer implementations simultaneously working in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail oriented
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Must have ability to work closely with Product Management, Program Management and Customer Services teams
- Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision
- A strong spirit and energy to provide the best support in the restaurant industry
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
- Travel 30% or more
